Morning all. I've a little more work in the yard to do today. Oh. Last night I asked DH if he knew the word lachrymose. He said yes and gave me the definition. Then he said, "Where did you come across that?" I said, "Oh... the internet."
Yes, but did he use it in it's proper context? Or in a tune?

I got the dictionary definition. He's my very own Oxford English Dictionary.

I think I'm going to sing Your song in the car tomorrow.

you guys are cracking me up this am! Muppets, zombies, Garden and Gun...

DS5 saw the local news story about the zombies, complete with people dressed up like zombies. All evening he was insisting that "zombies are real! I saw them on the news!"

Can I have a video? Are you going to do the de rigueur head bashing, a la Wayne and Garth?

Did I mention I want a video?

Oh, BTW, I've been inching toward the end of Peace Like a River. I've been a bit poorly with a chest infection, so every time I try and read it after I go to bed I fall asleep.

But I'm getting there. It's making me nervous, at this point.

Now that I see it in writing, it does make us sound like we suffer from Flight of Ideas!

Video. You know I found my Wallace & Gromit T-shirt yesterday.....

"Lachrymose
Cracking good toast"

I think we're on to something.

On the book: Until you've finished it.

Yes! Feel better soon! Take care of yourself.

Ha! MissFR LOVES Wallace and Gromit. She has a DVD of "World of Invention" as well as "The Wrong Trousers".

WOI is way too old for her, in reality, but she is fascinated by the story of the Teasmade.

Thanks, (and Zim), I'm trying to feel better. I got a cold last week and got all doped up on Dayquil and went running around NYC at full tilt, now I'm paying for it.

I woke up this morning and the labrador couldn't walk.

Finally got him moving to go outside, but I had to carry him back into the house. Poor thing.

He's 85lbs. I don't know how I found the strength but it was surprisingly easy.

He hasn't done his "business" since hubby had him outside at 4am. He was fine then.

Started him on medication. We'll give it a few days. He's walking a bit better now, not falling lately.

But he's afraid for me to be away from him, feeling very insecure.

We cancelled out trip. He needs us. He's more important than a trip.

Awww, Hopes. I'm sorry. So sweet of you to stay with him. I'm sure he's grateful.

Hope he feels better soon.
