Believe me I am. I have open on another screen the Shiba Inu Puppy Cam which always calms me down and makes me giggle. I just can't get over such vile hatred being accepted like that. If I could name names I would have a long list of people who better hope there is no such thing as karma. Back to the puppies lol.

Makes me appreciate Julia here because there seems to be no mod over there weeding out such hateful rhetoric.

I consider myself a centrist/moderate and am a registered Republican who voted Democrat in 2000 and 2008 and I am telling you I am this close to switching parties or at least going Independent just so I don't have to be associated with people like that. It truly is disgusting in that forum and yet I can't stop reading. Good thing I have extremely low blood pressure.

Now pass me a pina colada please.
I don't post there - I lurk occasionally and end up

I am no fan of either party. If either one would spend less time pandering to extremists and more time figuring out how to actually run the country, I'd listen. But I haven't seen any of that yet.

I slaved hard to serve Chinese take out. Pepper Steak, Cashew Chicken, and Vegetable Delight. It was hard work.

I remain a registered Republican because it allows me to influence which idiot gets to run in general elections.

Stay Republican. Think Strategy!

Good point. The only reason I have not formally switched to Independant is because I love voting in primaries and do not want to give that up. I got registed to vote on my 18th birthday and try and never mess any election even local. I would vote on dogcatcher if I could lol.

I sure would love a Centrist party with as much power as the big two.

you and my husband should form one! He refuses to claim either party. I'm a dem, but a fairly moderate one.

The present Democrats are pretty centrist IMO.

Some are for the most part and I am not too disappointed with President Obama although I was a HUGE Hillary Clinton supporter. I am still getting over that loss lol. I guess I really need to stay off political forums because both sides seem to bring out the worst in each other and bring all the extremists out. Sure would be nice to find a political forum somewhere where one could discuss the issues and possible solutions to problems with out hatred and rhetoric. This one is probably the worst I have seen on the web.

You guys filled up 4,5 pages while I was gone. Is it too late to put in my order (?), because the glass of Hawaiian Punch I had with supper had no zip-a-dee-doo-dah. Come to think of it neither did the chicken and noodles.
