the huge pile of crap has now migrated from the dining room table to the living room floor and into 5 separate piles. It looks worse now than it did when I started!
Isn't that always the case? Just persevere - you can do it! You'll feel so much better once it's done.
House is clean, fridge is full....just waiting for company. Not sure what time he's coming. We have a houseful of teens watching DU play UVA in the NCAA lacrosse semifinals....first time a school west of the Mississippi River has ever been in the semifinals. Pretty neat stuff! DU is usually known as a hockey school. Maybe lacrosse now too?
Anyone else sick of hearing about poor wittle Casey Anthony? She's scum of the earth, I hope they send her away for a very long time.
I am so tired of her. They did jury selection for her trial just a few miles from me. Luckily, I was over the county line, so I didn;t worry too much about a jury summons, but my mom got a jury summons to that courthouse for that day. Luckily she was in a different pool. Since all of this is so close, it is all over the news. Just hearing her name makes me sick to my stomach.
We're trying to remember what warm feels like FR....my patio furniture has been uncovered for about 2 days this spring. It is currently back under wraps. I keep hoping to be able to go out and enjoy sitting out there but if it's not raining, it is either too chilly or too windy. I know it will be hot and dry soon though, so trying to not complain too much. My peonies seem to have shot up overnight. Oddly, I do have one tree that hasn't leafed out. It has buds but they don't seem to be doing anything. I'm wondering if one of our late frosts damaged the buds. Tree looks healthy otherwise. Just looks odd. Especially since I have another tree of the same species that is fully leafed out (or pretty close anyway)....
That is so odd to me. I have been too hot for too long here. I am almost ready for Fall already.
