psr, we have a very small social circle as well. We have really a couple of very close friends. Most of the time, DH and I prefer each others company over most others
Yeah, the one with the guy from Iron Man. I've hardly ever been so disinterested in a movie. A few weeks ago we got Invictus from Netflix. It's the South Africa rugby movie. Man, I couldn't even get more than an hour into that one. I was so sad.

LOL! I have a short attention span when it comes to movies.

Now I didn't feel bad when we got Inception (I think that's what it was - the dream in a dream) and even my DH and DS had trouble keeping up with that one.

I hate it when moves try too hard to be clever.

Anyway, we just had brats and beer for lunch and are now off to walk the dog!

I can usually watch movies even if I don't like them. There are just some that cannot hold my attention. When I was younger I fell asleep during "Family Man" with Nicholas Cage. I also fell asleep during "Gladiator." The only other movie I remember falling asleep during due to boredom was "Anchor Man."

I've lost my cell phone again! I haven't left the house! I've even looked in laundry baskets!

If your ringer is turned on, CALL YOURSELF from your house phone.

Another reason why cell phones are evil and landline with real actual cords is godly.

Tried that. My ringer isn't on. We've torn half the house apart, pulling out furniture, etc. I'm about to give up hope.

My life is in that phone. I will have no way to reach half of the people in it if I don't find it.

AND I'm starting to have a melt down about the prospect of this teen moving into my house on Tuesday.

I found it! It was under my pillow.

I'm still freaking out about that teen moving here. I really don't have hope of it working out.

You are giving him an incredible opportunity, it's up to him now to make the most of it, and there's nothing more you can do. If it doesn't work, at least you tried.

I hope it does, but if it doesn't at least you know you tried your best.
