Sigh - as all you guys head off to the Land of Nod, I'm left here to sit and twiddle my thumbs till Mattie gets back.

Have a good sleep, everyone.

Thanks, num1baby, mm and Kobber!

Kobber - haha - good to know - DS was a mover and a shaker as well, although he continued from the second he was born into the present! We haven't tried him on organized sports yet, but hopefully that'll burn off some energy!!

Re: Twilight, totally not my thing, but I do get the vampire fascination! Anyone else prefer the Buffy-Angel-Spike triangle?? Sorry, showing my age, I suppose....

Morning all! Just checking in before we start in on what all we have to get done. Strained my back moving furniture yesterday, so darn it - can't do the bike ride.

I am sure you are very upset about that. I am sorry you can't do it.

We have a busy day too. Day 1 of Father's Day. Because we will be running between two sets of parents houses tomorrow, DH's Father's day is today.

Yes very bummed that I'll have to sit in the beer garden while they all ride 10 miles....

Have a fun day - I always like to drag Mother's Day out to a full weekend, possibly extending it on Friday as well. Like to work the system on that one. We aren't doing anything for Father's Day really, other than grilling some steaks. He never to seems to care that much... and we don't live near family so it's just us.

LOL - hope your back feels better soon jk - like right after the bike ride~

You're FD sounds like ours. Just us. DH is golfing with a friend and we'll throw something on the grill. No family here for us either. But we'll see everyone next week.

lol! I think DH thinks I'm faking it because I wasn't thrilled about the whole thing from the start as it seems way more than what I thought it would be - good grief. Over 600 people.

We have so much to get done before Monday that I don't think he's terribly thrilled either - but won't admit it.

I can barely bend over right now. He asked if I lifted using my legs - I think the answer to that is a big, "duh, obviously not!". Oh well - we should have waited until he got home yesterday to start moving stuff in, but we didn't. My bad. Nothing that a beer can't fix later
