num, I'm a big fan of strategic scariness - good for you! I'm similar in that it takes awhile to get my Irish up, but after it is, watch out. DH has a tendency to introduce to me people who comment on how nice I am by saying "yes, but don't p*ss her off, she'll cut you"

Glad your AC is coming home!!

I have found that people become more scared of you if you stay completely calm and just lay it out for them step by step how you will ruin their life because of some silly little thing that they did.

One of my friends told me that I am the calmest and scariest person she knows. lol
no you didn't go overboard! You sound a little like me. I hate confrontation and will avoid it at all cost. But when it becomes necessary, look out!

Sorry to hear that Hopes- I had the same problem last night! The darn birds outside (they like to make perches in the tree which is right next to the bedroom window) woke me at about 3 am and I couldn't get back to sleep It was the perfect time to get laundry done though...

That's me too. I am pretty consistently calm, but press the wrong buttons and watchout. When I am angry my kids say "watch out she got crazy eyes".

I once went outside at 3 am and threw my slippers at a particularly annoying mocking bird.

Didn't help.

(I caught up on "that thread" just a little bit ago All the good stuff always happens after I've signed off for the evening)

lol about the crazy eyes. Right before I left the VM on Monday, I heard DD whisper "Daddy. I think we need to get out of the house. I don't know who did it, but Mommy has that look. Please take me somewhere in case it was one of us." Ha! Now I just have "that look".

I'm going to add "Crazy Eyes" to my list. I already have the "Death Stare" and the Command and Control voice that would scare General Petraeus.
