Coop, I am intrigued with this needle free block. Please explain, it might get me to pick up the phone and make an appointment!

Dew - just eat your lunch Nothing ever gets through. We all bite our tongues until there is a breaking point. But then it's pages of excuses, etc. She feels entitled and she's extremely immature. There's no getting through to that.

So I survived the dentist. I go back in a month to do the other side of my mouth. They have a great way of doing regional blocks now that don't require needles. Yeah!
Excellent! Good for you, coop.

Fin, I really, really hate companies that have done away with sending monthly bills. Our various insurance company policies are leading the way. I have to keep a post-it on my computer reminding me who wants money when.

I hear ya. I always forget our TV bill until I get the dreaded feeling they're going to cut it off. This bill is a yearly bill though, which is really hard to remember.

I started putting everything in my online calendar, but I missed that one.

I get email notifications on some of my bills. I find that helpful. I do have a bunch of bills that all go to one recipient - I don't always get notification on those (I'm betting that's my fault though- that there is some box I checked or didn't check regarding email notification)....but I am on there often enough that I don't often miss them....

Mattie - it's hard to explain. But she was just pushing a vile along my gums. It's not like the stuff though that numbs the gum before shooting you with the needle. It's acts as if I had had the stuff administered by a needle.

It's possible this wouldn't work with major work though - like a root canal. But you might want to call to find out. My hygienist said they haven't been using it that long.

Dew - I might look into the sonic care thing.....part of my issue though was how long it had been since I had gone to the dentist (because of my fear).

Fin - do you use Quicken or anything along those lines? I have all our bills in the calendar in there with reminders. Our life insurance if yearly and if the bill got lost in the mail, I'd totally forget about it if I didn't have the reminders.

Thanks for all the moral support every one! It does help.

As I was in the chair today (for an hour!) I was thinking that if I had just gotten over my fears I wouldn't be having to go through this right now. And how much cheaper it would have been to just pay the regular cleaning along the way

kindergartner off to school! **sigh of relief**

We had one stupid bill come mid month, and everything else is due around the 1st. I had the one bill automatically go on my credit card, so I only have to remember to pay the bills once/month now.
