Yeah......no! Those are the type of women I have to co-exist with, I'd rather not watch them on TV too!

Home at last! I think Colorado is my new favorite state- MM, jk and rkb, you are all so lucky to live in such a lovely state! So pretty, lots to do (at least in Aspen, where we were) and the people were very friendly. The lack of humidity was nice as well

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I'm watching "Nine." It isn't really holding my attention so far.

No, musical with lots of women in lingerie and Daniel Day Lewis sleeping with them all. Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman... I think the one you are talking about might have been called "The Nine."

mm - how are you watching Dexter? My son watched season one on netflix streaming but then after that it required the cd - he loved that show but hasn't watched it since I don't think.

And I have to say - that if that picture of Johnny Depp turns out to be the jacket - omg. What did you google? Because I tried finding it too!

Fin - I forgot you had company and was wondering where you were. Glad you are okay - although house guests.....
My in-laws are now not coming. Long story.

straw - glad you had a good time. We tend to take it for granted living here. I'm ashamed to say I haven't been in the mountains all summer.

So has anyone else been watching Expedition Impossible? We got hooked on that show. One team is from here - Boulder. One of the guys is blind. It's amazing to watch him do this show. He's doing things I'd be terrified to do with site!

He's having some issues right now so they decided to put it off. DH is so slammed at work right now and working long hours, it's a good thing they aren't coming.

We just caught up on the latest episode - I can't believe they are still in it! I thought this show would be like the Amazing Race but it's really different - and ten times harder. The terrain is quite amazing.

We tried being frugal and cooking an entire chicken tonight. Big fail. The thermometer said it was fully cooked in all three spots we checked. It wasn't, though. Of course, we also neglected to rinse the chicken in the first place, so it was all nasty looking inside. Then hubby proceeded to murder the chicken in his attempt at carving. They need classes for this, man.
