Carry on.
Don't forget that all people in their 20's are irresponsible, sheltered individuals who mooch off of parents.

You have learned well young Jedi! Don't forget the PTA/Scout/Fundraising meeting in the evening at the local pub with the girls. Yes, you can do 2 more days, hang in there.

Yup, what's up with that? Guess I hadn't been following the forecast, but the tornado warning have put a serious damper on our day! We are holed away in the basement watching Hillbilly Handfishin' - very entertaining.

Stay safe everyone!

We don't get tornados in my immediate region. Only one in my lifetime. It wouldn't have touched the ground except for running into Mt. Washington. If Mt. Washington wasn't so elevated, the tornado would have just hung there in the sky as it passed by. Strangely, lots of tornados come through about 60 miles north of here in the outer rings of the lake Erie snow belt.

We get things called microbursts. Basically it's a very fast straight wind that results from a strong downward wind hitting the earth. There are no microburst warnings or watches like there are tornado warnings or watches. They happen suddenly but fortunately they're not as destructive as tornados. They're destructive, just not as destructive.

We've had a few funnel clouds and 2 small tornadoes within a 2 hour radius of here this year. It's very unusual though; normally we get a funnel cloud maybe once every couple years.

Now earthquakes, on the other hand...

You've got us to come to - so yes, you can make it! You do pretty good if it takes you 3 days to get sick of each other. For me it would be about an hour.

I hadn't even thought of that! Gosh I hope not. I tried grilling them last week. Still yuk. DH liked them though.

Is that where they tickle the catfish? I have a boy who is dying to try that. Acting like a worm is not my idea of fun...but then again, catfish isn't my idea of food.

These national weather service warnings are starting to get to me.

Day 4 of 6 of the in-law visit. I think after about 3 days we're all sick of each other. Tonight we're grilling tri-tip. Tomorrow I have one of Zim's "planning meetings" in the morning then we'll go to the kids' school for lunch. I can last 2 more days, right?
St Kibbie for sure. How often do the in-laws visit? Are you knocking out a year's worth of togetherness ( I hope)?
