also Alpha males or Beta or even Omega males?
Seems like many Alpha males are absentee fathers, at least more often than Betas or Omegas, so... what if an Alpha male, who is very macho and "good" with women has a son but never is involved in his raising. That son is raised only by the mother (who was left behind).
Is such a son more like to grow up a Beta or Omega male?
I personally don't think Alpha males are any more absent in child rearing than any other males....I think that in some instances a child will grow up to be just like his dad...whether he was there much or not....and then sometimes they won't....every child seems to have there own individuality...suffice to say...you never know what kind of a man your sons will grow into to........Though I do think having both parents is a big plus....I don't feel it's absolutely necessary for the child to grow into what he would naturally be.

Anyone ever watch American Chopper?
i think Sr. is a typical Alpha Male that see's his son as a threat as he matures. I've had some run in with people I would consider alpha males and not impressed with them. Stick 'em in the vanguard if you can.
