When my daughter turned 5, I began introducing her to different activities -- horseback riding, swimming, taekwondo (trial even included a free uniform), gymnastics, ice skating, ballet, hip-hop, acting, piano, choir, painting and Mandarin. NOT all at the same time. Some lasted a day... some lasted for two weeks... some for a month... some even longer... We took a bunch of cute pictures and it was a fun experiment/experience.

Hahaha this is very much what I did with my daughter too, starting around age 4! I recently made a list once of all the activities we had her try and was amazed by it.
The only thing that really stuck was something she mostly did on her own anyway, ART, but she did have a few classess in drawing and pottery. In the end she got her college degree in an art related field and is currently making a living at it but she definitely needed to go at her own pace when she was younger. Pushing her more would have turned her off to it all.
