Our new baby is due in Feb - and that will be two for us - which I think (for now if not forever) is just right

My prefered family is 1 person.

That means 0 kids.

Ditto on those things. I always thought money was going to be the primary reason to have fewer kids rather than more but as it turns out, when you have just one "explosive child" that throws your previous needed-energy estimates out the window. I love my youngest, but she is so "not easy" right now it wouldn't be fair to her sibling to have another child which would just take yet more attention/energy away from him.

4 little girls at our house and I don't think my nerves can handle more but in an ideal world would love five or six kids.

we originally thought when we got married we would have two maybe three kids but as you can tell by my screen name we had four boys would not change it for the world. A number of years back we flirted with the thought of trying for that girl.

We have three right now (13 y/o boy, 5 y/o boy, and 1 y/o girl), and that is perfect for us!

DS#1 has some special needs and he has always been very difficult energy-wise for me, or I'd probably have one more.

We have two (1b and 1g) and like it. You are not numbered, fit well in a booth at a restaurant, etc.
