How awful must a person feel to actually want to drill a hole in their head??
It gets really dry here in the winter, and my sinuses HATE it. They dry out and get infected, and my upper molars feel like they are being wedged together. The pain goes up into my eyes. I haven't wanted to drill a hole in my head yet, but I do use dental picks to get a sense of prying my teeth apart and relieving the pressure. I know it's just inflammation of the nerves and not my teeth actually moving, but the sensation is awful.

I want to get a humidifier for our bedroom so I don't wake up with a headache or toothache, but they make my husband's allergies flare up. If I keep myself very well hydrated it's not bad.

Julia I know just how you feel. I've got a couple of teeth I'd yank out if I could. I keep telling myself it will pass but in the meantime .... oops... almost used the U word.

In the meantime... it is a painful situation.

I know this is going to sound completely random, but I did not realize that Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen had a younger sister. She's a couple years younger but looks exactly like them. It's weird.

I didn't know that either. She's sooooooo much prettier!

The twins look like concentration camp survivors with their bony faces and big eyes.

Elizabeth is a healthy normal size and the extra weight in her face makes her more beautiful.

I was surprised when I learned that too. I saw her on TV a couple of weeks ago at some event and was really surprised. She is a prettier version of the twins.

OK, I admit it.... I'm old and at a mere 51 years of age. I have a friend whose daughter is having a baby. Wasn't it just yesterday when she WAS a baby?

Anywho, since I'm old and haven't purchased any baby shower gifts in the last decade or two, could some of you younger Moms tell me what gifts you received that you really liked or found helpful? Or perhaps some of the more seasoned Moms have attended showers and can tell me what gifts are currently most sought out. They already have the car seat/high chair/stroller, so those are out.

I don't want to toddle into the shower with my walker and hearing aid and also be toting a gift that screams "OLD!!!!".
