Word of the Day
titubant\TICH-oo-buhnt\ , noun;
1.A disturbance of body equilibrium in standing or walking, resulting in an uncertain gait and trembling.
Quotes:
Byron did something of the kind in Don Juan; and the world at large is still quivering and titubant under the shock of his appeal.-- W. E. Henley, "The Secret of Wordsworth," The Pall Mall Magazine, Volume 30, 1903
Sir Oran's mode of progression being very vacillating, indirect, and titubant; enough so, at least, to show that he had not completely danced off the effects of the Madeira. -- Thomas Love Peacock, Melincourt, Volume 1

Nice word!
Between the pregnancy and the sinus infection, my gait has become titubant. I keep expecting to fall over at any moment.

Waddle. Waddle. Waddle.
When you gonna lose that waddle? Who's in the running now?

You can't let your not having health insurance prevent you from taking care of yourself.
Since these are your hands, your entire future is at risk. It's not an issue you can whine about and claim you can't do something about. It's vital for your future that you don't drag your feet and delay care. If your bones are broken, you could have a greater expense if you delay treatment because surgery might be required if the bones set because you waited too long.
Furthermore, I don't know the laws in CO, but here, doctors are required by law to see patients who were recently seen in the emergency room, regardless of their ability to pay. If you wait to long to see the orthopedic surgeon for your follow up, they could possibly refuse you on your inability to pay due to your waiting past the time period that the law protects people who are uninsured.
Don't play games. Keep that job. If you can't work, do it right and go on a medical leave of absence so you still have a job waiting for you when you're better. Don't just quit. Fill out all the appropriate paper work. An employer can not fire you for not being able to work due to medical reasons.
I hope if anything you've learned that this is why we've been telling you to get your act together. We provided you with links to extremely affordable private health insurance a long time a year ago. There is no good reason that you don't have it. When your very future is at risk, I sure hope you see how having all the bells and whistles on the lastest cell phone is totally immature way to prioritize necessities.

I think that's pretty much standard USA practice in todays day and age hope, to be honest.

Ha!! Good question - I know Mattie has Friday but I think a couple of folks have the 11th and 2th as well. We came REALLY close last night around midnight, but alas, all we have is a funny video of LME dancing around to show for it.

Hey - play nice! I'm 40 weeks pregnant, slept for 2 hours last night, and my keyboard is sticking! "12th of October," better?
