Funny. I will admit that my kids do quite a few of these things, especially the jumping off the swing at it's peak, that DS's fave thing to do.
I did most of these things, and my son did some of them--I can see how they may get fewer chances.. Our neighborhood playground took out the teeter-totters years ago.
I think the only thing my kids haven't done is ride in a car without seatbelts. I got my first stitches after hitting a bump at high speed in a wagon, and spent many a summer afternoon rollerskating down a nearby big hill. They were the old fashioned metal skates that required a key to tighten. On the rare occasion the hill was newly paved it was about as thrilling an experience as we could get.
I had the same swing set she described. My sister broke her arm jumping off. We had a VW bus and riding in the "way back" was normal. No hills and no snow growing up, so we didn't do the skating, wagon, or sledding thing. Here we have hills and snow, so I'll have to keep a close eye on the boys!

My mom always tells me stories about how she used to drive to Virginia Beach with her rather large aunt in the middle of the bench seat of the station wagon. Her and her brother on either side. Then her younger brother in the middle of the front. There was no way a middle seat belt would fit around my aunt but it didn't matter because they didn't have them!
They wear helmets at the dinner table. You know, just in case they fall off their chairs.
HAHAHAHAH
it isn't as bad now, but there was a period of time when my son fell out of our counter height stools quite often. A helmet wouldn't have been a bad idea!
Yeah, I think we did all of those things except sledding in the snow, but we did seem to take every opportunity to travel as fast as possible down any given hill using any available vehicle, with usually unfavorable outcomes.
We have a teeter-totter in our yard. It's present use seems to be to see how many children can teeter at the same time. Good times.
I just called my mom about something and she text me back and ask me:
"Can't you let me sleep in on a saturday?" -Keep in mind its nearly 11 anyways.
I replied:
"Yeah...remember that time I was 19 and you gave me a bedtime and wake time and told me I couldn't sleep past 10am EVER?"
I HAD TO, she walked into that like helen keller into stained glass.
