I'm not hugely into football or any sport, really, but, being from No Cal, and a 49ers fan (back when they were good), I hate the Raiders, so losing to them is the absolute worst!

Ahhh.....one of my coworkers is a 49ers fan....although she's from here so I'm not sure exactly why....but yes, we all hate the Raiders.

Dogs sure need to be part of the pack, 24/7/365!

Since nobody is home, they insist on being upstairs with me.

That requires my carrying the lab up the steps.

They're both snuggled up in a pile on the bed behind me.

They look so out of place but so cute at the same time!

Good Night MrsX!

Major parenting fail for me this evening. DS was just being a PITA, wouldn't do what he was asked, very whiny. After dinner I sent him to his room to meditate, and when I went up to check on him the kid was fast asleep at 7. Guess I missed the fact the kid was exhausted. Oopsies!

Browsing through the Kohl's ads.....got a 20% off..

I may sit out on the deck here for awhile and cool off. The sun has set so I can open up the windows again....may watch some Dexter. I have to return Season 3 to the library here in a couple of days....and I don't like to watch TV during the day (except of course, football on Sunday afternoons!)...

Eh...I wouldn't call that a parenting fail...it all worked out fine. And sometimes, they are just PITAs regardless of the tiredness factor so who's to know?

Enjoy your evening!

Lol. I used to do that. I'd be exhausted and half mad and say, "Young man, I want you to go to your room and think about your sins." (Catholic influence.)

I later learned they thought that was uproarious.

Better than spanking them with a belt I suppose, just use a little good old Catholic guilt!
