By the time all the Duggar girls are grown up and have children that percentage of women who DO like that will raise.

getting a hysterectomy is not a procedure for contraception and is not voluntary/elective surgery. With so many birth control meds available now there is no period for months at a time.

I know but once I am done with kids, I don't want to have to take BC everyday. I haven't had a period in like 4 months now but I don't want to have to take something everyday and no way will I ever get the shot, I knew a girl who went from 98lbs to nearly 200lbs on the depo shot. No way!!!! I just don't want to have to deal with it ever again after I am done having kids. I know there are other things but nothing is 100%.
As far as the OP's question, let's not forget infertility. I see/hear of/know more and more women with fertility issues (myself included) all the time. Obviously when I was a kid, that was not a topic of conversation for me, but I know that all my family members have biological children - meaning no fertility issues preventing them from having as many as children as they want.
And this post is not meant to offend in any way, since I know people will point out adoption. Adoption is not always an option.
