That brings back such fond memories of my son as a baby. He loved lemons and would happily suck on lemon slices all day if he could. He'd do the whole pucker face deal and go back for more. He often tried to eat the peel, but most times I removed it before he had the chance.
Today he loves lemonade - and anything super sour!
It's always fun to watch babies tasting lemon... and it doesn't even have to be the first time, they pucker all the time.
My niece used to love eating lemons. She would take a bite, wince due to the sourness, and repeat. It was the cutest thing. I do think a lot of the reason she loved it, though, was that everyone found it hilarious.

My daughter was the same way--loved lemons. Whenever we'd have shrimp and had lemons with them, she'd grab the lemons and suck on them.
I gave my son a lemon (and a pickle at a different time) at around 6 months. He had NO reaction to either. The only way we could get a reaction out of him like that was with a grapefruit.

Eh it was to please my parents. Since we live in Florida, and they live in Nebraska, i agreed to let them try those while i was there visiting for the month so that they could be a part of it instead of seeing it through a video like most of his life.

That seems so odd to me. Never in my life did it occur to me to do things just to see a reaction from my children. If someone wanted me to, I'd be shocked and disappointed in them.
Yeah, because giving your child a pickle or a lemon to see their reaction is such a horrible request of a grandparent.
