I got all chocked up reading this on the news last night, what a great ending for both families.

My father was adopted - His story is ALOT like the one in the news.

by the time he found his birth mother, she was in really poor health and his half sibling decided that it would do her more harm than good to let her know that my father had been trying to find her... This sibling turned out to be "rich and famous" and thought my father was after money and didn't tell the other siblings about him. Many years later, my dad worked up the courage to contact the other siblings who were delighted to hear that they had a half-brother ! But I don't think my dad has ever gotten over not being allowed to see his mother just one time.
