No matter how much you disagree with which college your son decides he will attend, you don't stand up and berate the poor kid in front of the world. Honestly, the poor kid should disown his mother! Top recruit
Forgive me, but I didn't really see anything out of line in the linked video? She just gave her preference in a pretty respectful way I thought?

For starters she DIDN'T stand up....and second she most certainly did NOT berate her son...as you put it......she gave her honest opinion when asked a question...her answer was short, and straight to the point.....I think anyone who figures what she did was insensitive, or wrong...is quite simply making a mountain out of a molehill...something that it seems in this day and age is the norm......She's probably taught her son that honesty is the best policy...and she's setting a GOOD example.
Nothing wrong as far as I could see. If my son were to want to play for Michigan I would make a comment about OSU. Maybe she went to LSU or something. People are allowed to have pride doesnt mean she doesnt love and support her son.
I expected to see Momma doing her best immitation of a Drill Instructor screaming at the new recruits filing off the bus. This was a disappointed mother who expressed her opinion. When asked.
