No matter how much you disagree with which college your son decides he will attend, you don't stand up and berate the poor kid in front of the world. Honestly, the poor kid should disown his mother!

I bet this Mama will be the first one in line with her hand held out if and when this kid goes Pro and makes some Big Bucks. I really feel for the kid to have his own mother embarrass him like that.

That Alabama vs. LSU rivarly runs deep, lol. I couldn't imagine doing that to my kid, even if he went to Notre Dame which would pretty much be blasphemy to me as a BC guy. She should be happy for his success and the opportunity he is being given.

I think I know why he chose the out-of-state school.

No one with even a drop of class would act that way. And yes, she will be there expecting her son to finance her lifestyle the day he goes pro. What a loser of a mother.

That was horrible for this mom to do. It's not about what she wants it's about what her son wants. And to do this on national TV, I would not be happy with my Mom at all.

eh, I didn't think her comment was all that bad (I thought by thread title there was going to be cursing and degrading him). Although she wishes he choose LSU, I am sure she still supports his decision. She is allowed to voice her opinion on the matter, and truthfully, since she was asked.

Congrats to the player, I am sure he will do well at Bama

Sorry, I watched the video, I did not see any berating, nor did she stand up. She was asked by the commentator about her feelings. Was she supposed to lie?? Didn't hurt the kid any.
