Hello,

Current or former parents of teens - Has anyone done this or thought about doing this for a normal teen who just has some stress from school work?

If so, what was the outcome? If not, what would your alternate solution be?

A better approach would be to discover, and then relieve, the source of the stress.

I might give them GABA or Sleepytime tea while I was seeking to discover the source of the stress but I don't believe that it's always beneficial to relieve the source of the stress--sometimes kids have to go thru some stuff to grow. And what if the source of the stress is a bad conscience because they did something wrong? You could help them problem solve but that doesn't mean that you should take the stress away. Actually I know that you didn't mean that you should, but someone will point it out.
