One day as he was walking along the side walk he made way out of courtesy for an older boy...The other kid took this as some sort of insult..that courtesy was a show of dis-respect..totally a crazy twisted set of values...The older kid made a gesture that he was armed...

The idea that you are forced to be part of a barbaric and dirty school system is not right...leave the crap hole and go else where...no one can force you to live with the cruel primatives.
Amen! There are always alternatives.

What a kind, generous offer!

OP: Here's your chance. If you really want to help your child you can send foe3643 a DM and use her expertise. Seriously. A DM is simple and this may be of enormous help to you.

There are homeless shelters in smaller towns or smaller cities, right? Is there a relative who has a couch and air matress somewhere? With an MBA surely you can get some kind of work, even if's a major step down. Check with churches and see if they can make suggestions. How about social services? Geez.

LOL? Excuse me, but I really don't think this is funny.

You put your son in jeopardy because you're too proud to get help, and when something BAD happens to him because you won't DO anything, then all that pride is going to seem STUPID.

foe is right, you need to protect your son and stop messing about.

This whole situation is making me feel ill.

And OP, you mentioned in another forum about leaving your son with your Mom. Does she live in a safer neighborhood with a better zoned school? If so, can you both stay with her NOW?
