Wow. That really makes my blood boil. I mean REALLY makes my blood boil. I'm usually a fairly passive person and supportive of school rules and whatnot, but some heads would ROLL if that happened to my daughter (also in kindergarten)

How can people be this braindead after going through college?

I'm sure that's going to be the end of that teachers career as well.

This will have a lasting affect on this poor girl. The teacher needs to be fired.

Absolutely nuts! This is kindergarten! How any teacher could do that to any child is just beyond my comprehension.

Improved test scores at all costs, I guess. This poor child will probably be too traumatized to sit for a test for a very long time.

Shocking, really shocking. I've always said you can't use bathroom restraint as a method of control in school. You just never know, and it could end up shocking, like this did. Tsk, tsk, tsk, she won't be teaching long. Judgement people, I hope it was her own judgement at least and she wasn't following a new stupid policy. Then I'd feel bad for them both.

I read the story.

From what I know incidents like this have happened more than one time in our school, except only with pee.

If heads do roll, it is only because it became a public story.

Kindergarteners being denied access to bathrooms is fairly common.

The big problem in getting resolution is that school administrators will treat a kid that age as a liar.
