Tank top, no.

Wicking shirt, yes.

If you're that worried about the farmer's tan, wear full-block sunscreen.

BTW, good for you for volunteering at field day. A lot of dads don't.

Eh, if he's like me I can sympathize. I have to re-apply sunblock basically every two hours, and you wouldn't be able to do that on a field trip.

I think you should wear a t-shirt.
At the schools where I taught, a sleeveless top for a man (unless they were going to a water park) would be inappropriate.

BTW If it is a water park, DON"T wear a Speedo, wear larger swim trunks.

I would be surprised that you are not being "issued" a T shirt from the school. When my son's middle school did field day (Also in ES). The school had T shirts made up for the day. I think they cost $7.50 (but every kids got one even if they could not pay). Staff/Adults Had T shirts also.

OK, I can't wait any longer! (unless, I missed it).

What did you wear?
And was it appropriate?

Thanks

Not appropriate. Wear a t shirt or don't go.
