My father has taken up blogging as a way to communicate all of his thoughts to the broader world. He is relatively socially isolated, and his blog seems to fill a social gap in his life. Unfortunately, the blog is rather loose and eclectic: some pearls of wisdom combined with vanity press (which I guess all blogs are). When my father is not writing his blog or promoting his blog, he is watching how many and who are reading his blog: a number which I think is dwindling.

Is anyone else out there in a comparable situation? Anyone want to swap parents for blogging support? As much as I'd like to support my dad's interest in this, I would have to assume a fake identity to do so, and that would be hard and would get old quickly. I would be more than happy to follow someone else's parent's blog in exchange for the same. Any takers? Please?

I'd like to read his blog...I don't have a blog, though, but I'd be glad to read his. PM me the URL, please.
