News, 10-Year-Old Girl Gives Birth in Belgium.
BRUSSELS — A ten-year-old Belgium girl gave birth to a baby boy last year, according to Expatica News.
The pregnancy came as a 'big' surprise to the girl, says Dr. Robert Chef who examined the girl.
According to Expatica, the doctor said the 10-year-old came to him with "unexplained abdominal pain." He said he noticed the girl gained some weight and after examining her, he discovered that she was nine months pregnant, the website reported.

So, let's see.... the girl had her period, and no one noticed. Then she had sex, and no one noticed. And then she got pregnant, and no one noticed. You gotta wonder about her parents.

I think this is one sad story. At 10 they should be playing with dolls. Seriously this makes me sad. At 20 this little girl will have a ten year old. Wow.

All it takes is puberty and a boy/man. Puberty is coming earlier and earlier regardless of what anyone wants. The media turn kids into sexual objects and we wonder what is happening. 11-13 year old high fashion models??? There was an 11 year old on a TV makeover show that looked like she was in her 20s. On Tyra Banks show I think.
I have a friend who was a teenager and did not know she was pregnant until the baby was being delivered. Honestly. She had gained a lot of weight and it never either crossed her mind or she completely and totally erased any thought of it.
Tremendous emotional baggage. But.....she turned out to be the most fierce mother to her son. He has cerebal palsy and she is wonderful with him. Doesn't often happen but did in this case.

Not as uncommon as it used to be. There are girls as young as 9 who get pregnant before their first period. Especially since those girls are mature for their age. There usually is a history of sex with an older male, perhaps even a family member. The child is just thought to be getting fat. It never dawns on anyone that she is pregnant because of the abuse that is a common thing in the family. If she is a fatty with the prominent baby fat belly, it is even less noticeable.

Read this below if you think this story of the 10 yr. old is shocking. Youngest girl to ever deliver a baby was 5 years old! Can't even imagine.

This is sickening...she's so young! A little boy in my 9 year old daughter's class at school was born when his mom was 12. She didn't stop there either. She is 21 now and has a total of 4 kids. That is just nuts.

I wonder what would have happened if these children's pregnancies were discovered earlier. Surely abortion would have been considered for some. Actually, we're only discussing the youngest mothers. One has to ask how many other little girls were pregnant and terminated. Heartbreaking. To think of a child, obviously incapable of making the decisions that got her into this situation, not to mention what to do now that it's happened, having to deal with such heavy baggage. There are no easy solutions for a pregnant child.
