I did some more quick research and this is a special event for developmentally challenged children! Is that not the most tender, sweetest interaction you EVER SAW????

I couldn't help it - it made me cry.

I do wonder if they are brothers . . . but one thing for certain . . . whoever the "mentor" was - his parents are raising an extraordinary kid - so patient and protective.

Yes, parents should be proud of those boys!!!

I love how the goalie even got into it. I love heartwarming stories like this...makes me feel like there is still hope for us .

I totally bawled (yay pregnancy hormones, haha) watching this. It was so sweet even before I clicked the link, and then I saw what the deal was, and started crying again. So incredibly sweet, thank you for sharing.

Different last names on the backs of their shirts. What a special kid that helper was. Proud of that kid! Someone is doing a great job raising him.

I posted this on my FB page (TY KUDZU!) and folks have had the same reaction . . . it does give one hope seeing that kind of love and kindness. What a great program, too!
