I tandem nursed mine. They were 3 years apart, so the older one wasn't nursing nearly as often as the baby. I basically started limiting her to twice per day - first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. I did often nurse them together simultaneously. My general routine was to nurse the baby on one side, then switch her to the other side and nurse the older one on the side the baby was done with. I don't know if I'd say that I "liked" it, but I am glad I did it anyway.

Still nursing and will do so until my baby boy weans himself. I like to do things as naturally as possible. He is 25 months now.

When we take health histories for mammograms we ask how many months total the patient breastfed her baby or babies. It seems that the trend is toward more months of nursing than in the past.

So I am curious, how many months did you nurse each baby?
