CARRION? Really? Someone named their baby that??? The kid will grow up wondering why vultures are circling.
From what I've seen, I'd bet the parents have NO CLUE what that name means! They just thought it sounded "kewl".

I rather like city names--some work well for both genders, some are better for girls. But Schenectady? Not even for a puppy!

Did I mention Shyann yet? I guess these parents could not figure out how to spell Cheyenne - or they intended to be cute. I thought it was only the one family I knew, but have seen the name spelled this way numerous times.

Just shows stupidity to me.

When I was teaching, I always found the influence of popular media on baby names, quite interesting, there was a pattern, for awhile it was the names of characters from Dynasty, Blake, Krystyl, Alexis, Adam, then there was "All My Children", Erica, Chandler, Marlowe, Adam, Jackson..and who can forget "90210"? All the Dylan's, Brandon, Carly's....

Really...naming kids after your favorite tv show?

One of my friends at a job I had way back when, her name was " A' Dream" as in a dream come true, she was the first girl after several boys.

Dade is a fine name for a boy born in Dade County Florida, but I draw the line at Walla Walla.
