I am looking for a letter a Daughter wrote about her deceased Father. Its like an apology and I miss you letter. It starts out by how he never really understood her growing up as a teen and how she gave him hell but what she didn't realize at the time is that he was there for her always and as she is now a woman she feels that she didn't quite tell him she loved him enough and now when times are tough she wishes she could curl up like a little girl again in his arms so he can protect her from everything but he's gone so she can't. I've been looking for this letter for a while but can't find it and now with Robin Williams passing, the search is harder because it added all these other links about something he wrote about his daughter. (God rest his soul)

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I don't have time to search for it now, but let me give you a tip on how to find it. In google, after you type in what you want to search and hit enter, there will be options or "web" "new" "images," etc. Click on "Search Tools." Under that will have options. Click on "Anytime." Then select "Custom Range." Here you can put in the dates you want to search to avoid any recent news of his death. I did 01/01/1980 to 01/01/2013. You're still going to have a difficult time finding it because it appears his daughter is a prolific letter writer.

If you find it, please share. I have a special place in my heart for Robin Williams because he looked like my father back in the 80s. So much so, people used to send him pictures of Robin Williams. What Dreams May Come was difficult for me because my father died a year after my mother died in the early 90s.

I just saw that movie again recently and remembered how much I loved it. BTW, the letter I am referring to has nothing to do with Mr. Williams or his Daughter, just that since his death, it makes the searching harder. Thanks for the tip though.

That makes it easier. To exclude Robin Williams from the google search, put - before the words you want to exclude. You can link together words with parentheses.

Like this: daughter letter to father -"robin-williams"

This is what I found:

An Open Letter To The First Man To Ever Love Me: My Dad

There are others. Good luck in your search.

Agh, I had my hopes up TXT, The one you posted Hopes, I had seen and it's good but the one I'm looking for has more regret in it because her father is no longer there to protect her from the world. Thanks for taking the time though. I appreciate it!
