Apparently it's common among children of this age:
Stuttering in Children

This link had quite a bit of information as to what you need to keep in mind or look for. I didn't realize it could also be a genetic problem. Chances are it will stop on it's own....but it's always nice to have all the information possible.

i wouldn't finish her sentences or speak for her. We liked to say, "Use your words" and not make a big deal of it, just have relaxed atmosphere around it. If she's working on something emotionally then watch to see what else is going on with her.

Hey, that was a good article. It says not to finish sentences or ask to slow down, just sort of ignore it and it will generally go away. That sounds like a plan to me!

Make sure to post back in the future to let everyone know how this resolved. It will probably be a big help to future moms who are worried about this situation.
