YMCA great suggestion from previous poster. A group by the name of M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers or as my mom's husband said, mothers on prozac). We have a lot of fun with this group. Barnes and Noble has a reading hour. Also with M.O.P.S. you can find other moms and schedule play dates. Good luck and let us know how you're doing. Being a stay at home mom can be lonely and being a mom of twins must be the biggest job yet. I admire you!!

My daughter is 17 mos and some of the things she loves are story time at Barnes & Noble or the local library, playing at the park (there is a great younger children's area that is fenced where I can let her run and still be safe), very easy walks through the state park, feeding the ducks along the creek, children's museums if any are close to you, and bike rides in her trailer just about anywhere.

We are going to join the YMCA soon too, what an excellent suggestion that is.
