Caravan holiday with a 4 year old is going so much easier and better than I expected - she just makes friends at each camp site straight away and plays with them while we get to relax. And one very excited kid visited Moominworld today (I was quite excited too! )

My youngest visited the emergency department four times in eighteen months. Three of those visits involved stapling shut head wounds. I'm often surprised he made it this far intact. His first five years were a wild ride!

I have to thank my lucky stars, I do not remember the last time I had to rush to the ER with any of my kids!

He was raring to go from the moment he was born and had older siblings with whom to keep up. Fortunately, he settled down once he started school, but we often joke that our littlest was the reason we always chose premium health care insurance.

Thats how I was as a child. I broke my arm three times before the age of 5. No broken bones or trips to the emergency room since then though.

We told my kid on our holiday not to injure herself as we didn't want to have to go to an ER in a big city and wait for hours...right after I said that to her I fell over and sprained my elbow! Oh how she laughed at me!
