We all know kids like to ask why with regard to almost everything they come across when they are young. At what age do kids generally stop asking the "why" question?

Thanks

Lol...never really..which is who it should be....we should all ask why.

However the overly repetitive 'why' to every question followed by another 'why' tends to ebb by 6 or so. I know can be annoying...but it certainly isn't the worst behavior and shows intelligence...answer the best you can and keep going.

If all goes right, never!

I am no longer a kid, and I still ask 'why'.

If it's this type of "why", "Why can't I do/go/wear", etc? That lasts as long as they live under house rules.

But the "Why is the sky blue?" stuff ended as soon as they were old enough to be told to look it up.

Never, if they are intelligent people.

Ditto to "never" although it's not as frequent as it was when they were children. We're getting redux with our grandson. And if I don't know, and there's a viable answer out there somewhere, we both research it together, so we're both learning.
