Wireless audio device(s) (kid, cost, city, house)

I am audio conversant but not up-to-date with the new stuff. I feel sure there must be low cost devices available to take the audio output from my cable TV receiver and send it wirelessly to my whole house radio/cd player so it can be heard throughout the home. Can anybody guide me to some products or product sources and tell me what the right terms are that I should be looking for? Thanks Paul in Haines City FL

Except almost no kid today uses cds or radios :X.

Anyway, maybe the amazon echo works. I'm not sure of the dynamics of it though.
