That's the kind of story you let 'slip out' when her BF comes to meet you for the first time

This story is going to come up as often as possible ... first communion, graduation, I'll be a babbling old codger in a wheelchair telling her kids about it!!!

LOL - I told your story at a party yesterday - my friends were cracking up! It brought on a deluge of other similar stories involving everyone's kids!

When my daughter was about 4, she thought cucumbers were called "cute-cumbers". We still call 'em that. When she first started talking, she couldn't say "I love you". It always came out as "baboo". We still say that to each other to this day. It's too cute!

My oldest used to say that she had to "brushie her tee-tahs with o-peeste" and I had to clean her ears with "coupons". My second (the tropicana girl) daughter's favorite store was Green-Wals (Walgreens) and she hated going to the wash-clean (carwash). My son's 2 favorite movies are Augustus Gloop Agustus Gloop (the Johnny Depp version) and Oompa Loompa Dooppity Doo (the Gene Wilder version).

I have to chime in with my story .....

When my daughter was little she used to get sick a lot - and I used to tell her that I would have "sympathy pain" for her. I was in a car accident and hurt my back - she started walking around with her hands on her back - I said "whats wrong" she said "I'm having symphony pains"

That was VERY, VERY funny!! Thanks for the "make my day" humor moment! By the way, my son does something similar too, but his is squeezing every fruit to make juice with his hands, of course. Quite a mess!! LOL.

My son, 5 years, also loves Willie Wonka's Chocolate factory (Johnny Depp version) and proceeds to do the Oompa Loompa dances. Its quite aerobic when Mommy does it with him. LOL!
