I was picking up the house today when I heard my 6 year old exclaim "THIS DOESN'T WORK!!!" I went into the kitchen and found my daughter with an orange in one hand with a STRAW sticking out of it ... she was trying to suck the juice out of the orange with a straw like she sees in the commercial!!! Ugh!!!! When I explained that it's a commercial, she wasn't buying it. Personally, I don't see how in the world she got the straw to stick out of the orange ...
So, with my fist in the air I proclaim Curse you Tropicana!!!
That is cute, the moments you should have a camera or camcorder readily available.
I can picture her sitting there trying here darnest to get that straw in & suck out some good fresh juice! Just serious & concentrating.
A moment to remember & tell her about in a few years!
That is funny.
Reminds me of my landlocked cousin in the midWest who finally went to California for the first time when she was 27 years old, and she bought an avocado, because she was determined to make guacamole. She proceeded to try to cut it in half, and kept sawing at it until she finally cut through, she said it was the toughest darned thing she ever cut in half, "I didn't know there was a damn pitt in there."
I remember when my daughter was 3-4 she wanted Mrs. butterworth syrup, So I bought it and she was so eager she dressed herself in a nice dress and her little black shoes, and sat at the table so paiently waiting for her pancakes, then I see her inspecting Mrs. butterworth, then she says " how do you turn her on" or where do you plug her in at?" She was waiting for Mrs. Butterworth to start talking to her.
