I mean, never dated, never had any kind of contact with the opposite sex, no female friends etc. This is just an hypothetical question.

Couldn't care less. I care more about self-efficacy, independence, good choices, and overall adjustment. Whatever my kids decide in their adult relationship lives will be fine with me.

I wouldn't care? My twenty seven year old cousin has only dated one guy, and that was for like two weeks. I think most of the time when people don't date they are either gay or asexual. However, there can be a lot of other reasons people might not of dated anyone either. It's never good to assume these things.

I would be concerned about NO CONTACT OF ANY KIND with girls. No classmates? No neighbors? That would almost have to be intentional on the part of the parents.

In terms of dating, people do that at different stages and ages. There is no universal standard. And kids don't always tell their parents every single detail of their private lives anyway.

Naturally, the great majority of young adults wouldn't even discuss this with their parents. It's just assuming knew about it somehow.

Those things are obviously much more important than this, it's just food for thought.

Did you hope to make a point about a 24-year-old son who had "never" dated or had contact with women whatsoever?

How is that possible?
Really..... how?

All male schooling (classmates AND teachers), no female salespeople ever, no female neighbors, etc. I find totally unbelievable.
