I consider myself a safe driver, including when my baby is riding with me. Does anyone here use any of those Baby on Board signs for their car? Do they work, or at least help just a bit with what seems to be a very rush rush, miserable, angry, and aggressive fellow drivers out there ? If not,is there anything else that may help to alert people to stay back and give us some space?

Those signs were never designed to tell other people how to drive. They were used to alert emergency personnel that there is a baby in the car in the event the adult was incapacitated. The problem is, people just keep them displayed, baby or not.

Ive seen plenty of banged up cars with them signs in the window so im guessing it didn't help. When I see them I don't change my driving habits

I hate that sign.

The people who display it are expecting others to use their mental energy on them because their cargo is so special to them, so it's all about them really. I got news for ya, my kid ain't special to others and neither is yours. And thinking that others should alter their behavior because of what is special to you is obnoxious.

I think they just annoy people.

I've always thought those stupid signs were kind of ironic. Most times, the person driving a car with one on it is driving like a bat out of Hell. If they are so concerned about life, drive a little more sensibly.

Not that I'm an aggressive driver, but I've never changed my driving habits around cars displaying those signs.

if anything, those cars say "Hey, if you are poor and need baby supplies, there is probably a stroller or other baby crap in my trunk if you are in the mood to bust it open"

You have the wrong idea of their purpose.
They DO work... for the rescue personnel that look for it.
But those signs are NOT designed to change anyone's driving habits.

I always liked the "ex-husband in trunk" spinoff sign.
