My kindergartner and 5th grade kids have been using this simple, free app called NumberWhiz:


I like it because it's very straightforward, it just simulates the Math flash cards we used to use as kids. No fancy distracting stuff, just plain addition, subtraction multiplication, division flash cards.

What other educational apps would you folks recommend?

Starfall, hooked on phonics, reading raven, splash math, IXL, dreambox, reflex math, spelling city, kiko's learning time.

Those are my favorites. Most are pricey though.
