No, but they tend to Catholics, who worship saints and angels. Gabriel is Jewish, like Uriel, Rafael and Michael. The Book of Enoch didn't make it into the bible, even though Jesus quotes from it in the gospels. Most Christians don't know much about angels. I guess Jesus was willing to believe that Methuselah's daddy wrote a book that was still in print, but the committee that fixed Christianity just couldn't swallow it.
I don't even know what you are trying to say, but nothing you have said means that Gabriel is suddenly an Hispanic name.
According to legend, Gabriel interpreted Daniel's visions, foretold the birth of Jesus, and dictated parts of the Qu'ran to Mohammed.
A Cooper is a barrel maker, a very important profession especially if you like 🍺 and 🍷.
Logan is a good Scottish name and I seem to meet many people with young kids named Logan these days. Apparently it means small valley or depression between two hills, or what southerners call a 'holler' (hollow).
LOL! I agree with him 100%. Both my boys have good Biblical names that have been common for years. Funny thing is the majority of men their ages have the goofy names like Cody, Tyler and Barrett. No offense to anyone whose name happens to be any of those three. I just like boys names that are strong and stand the test of time: Vincent, Robert, Joseph, Daniel, David, etc.
I have recently called two help lines in the financial arena. One was a bank and another an investment company. At the bank I got Tyler. At the investment company I talked with Sawyer. In both cases I would have had more confidence in what I was hearing if the guy on the other end was named John. That was honestly my gut reaction. I called the bank after hours and got someone named Austin. I liked that a little better than Tyler or Sawyer, so now if I need help I wait for Austin. I feel a little safer, but not much.
Logan is such a good name. Everyone I've known named Logan has been pretty cool. Most Gabriel's I've known (especially those that go by Gabe) have been jerks. Cooper is too much of a last name. For all of you saying Gabriel isn't a Hispanic name, you're right the origin is Hebrew, but it IS common among Hispanics. Just like the Hebrew name Daniel.
Much better! I prefer Theo or TJ over Teddy. I don't like hearing adults being called kid names and Teddy is for a bear.
I don't know, Teddy Roosevelt was pretty tough.
