I will say though, that my rollerskates with metal wheels were the kind that you had to strap onto your shoes!

I loved Holly Hobbie & still have drinking glasses with her on it.

My treat at the end of the school year was going to a store called Gold Circle & getting a pair of Dr. Scholls for summer.

I loved my subscription to Dynamite!!! I remember hearing that boys loved the smell of Love's Baby Soft. The lipgloss thing .. guilty as charged, but I sure didn't have a flower basket on my purple banana seat bike

What a blast from the past. I had a bike just like that, I also saw Olivia Newton-John in concert and I still have my Donnie and Marie Osmond dolls and their assorted matching costumes. I also remember their variety show AND Sonny and Cher's variety show as well.

Do they still sell the Original Dr Scholl Exercise Sandals in stores? They use to sell them in th 70's in chain drug stores. Most girls wore them til they got down to plain wood, but the fad went out. I thought that one day they would make a comeback. I quess it is the cost factor.

Many but not all applied to me. I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a short "boy" hair cut. What was my mom thinking? I think that scarred me for life!
