we named our youngest daughter Annika.(think monica w/o the M)..actually, my husband picked it out too! Once he heard it, any debate for a name was all over. I didnt really like it at first, but now i love it and we get a LOT of compliments on it.
recently, i was reading in the paper of the new babies, one had named their child Sage...last name, yup, you guessed it, Brush....sigh...and another was Erwin Howard...honestly, i dont know which is worse.

Well if you end up using that name please let me know. She gets excited every time she runs into another Cjersti. It is a Swedish name that I read in a book while in college. I liked it and remembered it for the next ten years.

Our friends named their daughter Annika. Although we loved the name, it was fun to pretend to misunderstand and say "Hey Annikin are there any disturbances in the force today?" We usually refer to her as Princess Skywalker. - well we thought it was funny anyway.

My nephew's middle name is "Stanton" named after his grandfather's, Stan and Anton

My niece's middle name is the same way: "Kathlena" for Kathryn and Lena

I graduated with a Dick Wager (pronounced wagger) Real name Richard but he went by Dick

p.s. I LOVE my nieces and nephews middle names (and first names too)

Default worst names

The worst name I've heard, not because it's gross or necessarily embarassing, but because it's just so strange is "Zhelinrentice."

My mother went to school with a girl named "Aquanetta." She must have had big hair.

My parents christened me nice classical names (Henry, Steeve, etc) only too many of them : six . A sign of love maybe, but a damned hindrance later in life for sure.
