Okay, I have to admit to one more. A DISTANT cousin named her son after a frequent sensation in her last trimester.
First name? BRAXTON.
Middle? You guessed it, HICKS.
Poor little guy......

Good thing you gave the name. I was thinking "Flatulence" when you said frequent 3rd trimester sensation.

I used to have a co-worker whose last name is White. Her first name? Snow (seriously!)! Yup, I worked with Snow White! Another co-worker named her daughters Montana and Nevada.

OMG!!! I worked w/a girl named Jan White...no big deal right? Til we found out she was actually January Snow White. Guess its not all that uncommon....Snow Whites of the world..UNITE! lol!!
a guy a few years behind me at school was Harry Barber....sigh....the things people name their poor kids! ugh.
I work w/kids, so i see some....interesting ones...including
Nephertiti
Timber
Clover Field
Bubba (yup, name, NOT nickname!)
Airy
and one lady who was fostering a sweet boy whos name was going to change from what his drugged out mother named him...which was Alucard Wolfblood (dracula backwards)
i heard of a woman that named her child Placenta....i thought it was more urban legand, but from hearing some of the other names some posters have said they heard...maybe not! sheesh..

There were these 3 brothers in our town growing up. Their parents were in prison, so they were placed with a foster family. The most beautiful kids you've ever seen. Their names?
Harley Davidson
Jack Daniels
and
Smith Wesson
I wonder what ever happened to them.....

OK, now I have to get in on this one. When I was pregnant with my oldest, my mom asked me if I had ay names picked out. I told her if it was a girl, I was going to name her Jericha. She promptly said "No, you're not!" Yes, I did... and I don't think there's another name that would suit her any better. She is beautiful, independent and unique, just like her name!
That said, I know of sisters named Unique and Atrue Dream. Their dad named them...
And now, for my favorite of all bad names... My ex used to work with a guy named Dave Dickey. Years later, I got to work with Dave's brother. Duncan. And yes, he has to wear a nametag at work.

There is a very cute little girl named "Harley Davidson" in our community. But that's more common than I thought from what I read here.
I once met twins named Kimberly and Simberly and my first thought was "Simberly got screwed."

From my high school:
Anita Bohn
Michael Hunt.
Paul Ehnis (not a problem until someone saw a letter addressed to P.Ehnis).
A family: Faith, Hope, Joy, and either Charity or Chastity. There were five of them I think all the names were like this. They were all really pretty so they did not get a lot of guff about their names (some, but not a lot).
A friend had a lady in their LaMaz class that did not understand much of what was taught, but after one class she was much enamored of a word that she heard and decided to name her daughter . . . . Myconium.
Suggestions for our twins:
Samantha and Calantha. (from great grandma, I liked it, wifey said NO!).
Frick and Frac (really it was seriously suggested by a later angry creative when we rejected it with a howl).
Candy and Cane.
Milk and Honey.
Sue and Sue. (this person thought it would make raising them easier and avoid one feeling superior to the other.)
There were a ton of suggestions seriously given where the two names made a funny or nasty combination when put together. I cannot remember them all.
Someone told me that their neighbor named his son Espin after ESPN.
My favorite came from a time when I was entertaining (magic) some small children at a church. The girl's name tag said something like Mirthigerlity. I asked her name and she said "Michelle" I looked again at her name tag and she said "My Momma don't spell too good".
