I grew up in Minnesota and the first time I saw bologna, mustard and potato chip sandwich was in the lunch room at primary school. I watched in amazement as a girl opened her bologna and mustard sandwich and add potato chips to it. I remember I couldn't wait to go home and try it myself. I had never since then seen or heard of anyone else do that. Figured it was a isolated incident, maybe they were from or had visited Philadelphia ...... I still crave them on occasion. Somehow it works.
