I was about to suggest Emma, but I love both names you have above. Twins names don't have to go together. Having different names will help them each have their own identity and be individuals.

Also- I like the idea of honoring your friend, with her name. Its a pretty name.. if your having trouble though, try using her names as middle names for each and play around a little..

Just name them what you like. They don't have to go together. They are, after all, individuals and IMO should be treated as such. I have toddler twins (boy, girl) and the only thing we kept common was thei middle name...both beginning with a J.

Good luck with this pregnancy. Some unsolicited advice: start planning now on how you will handle multiples...if you have a game plan it isn't hard at all! (DO everything in tandum...bath both the same day (and when older at the same time), feed them at the same time (I used to sit mine in their baby carriers and sit between them with bottles-those were the days, lol), change them at the same time...Good luck! It will be such a great time...just be prepared to answer a MILLION questions when at the mall and such, lol!

Madison is overused today, in my opinion. I say go with your gut and do what you like!

thanks for all the responses!! especially twinmama!! thanks for the advice on handling twins, i'll appreciate that when there here! On the names, Reece and Riley are really cute but is Reece a girls name? Anyways we actually had the name Riley first as Riley Paige and Riley Ashley. But way first like way way way first when we first found we were having twins we thought of naming them Gwen Stephaine and Grace Avalon which we still like but are like kind of the edge with. We thought of taking our friend who is Daniella Grace and naming the baby Grace Avalon and Avalon after my great uncle Austin. Then we can have Riley Paige (which is adorable!) or Riley Ashley. Argg!! I really think naming boys is so much easier!
