I would want something separate from the devices streaming from echo, firestick, whatever. Like a tablet & Amazon prime sub if they have wifi...if not go stand alone with an iPod filled with what you want & speakers.

Our children were always read to at night & then they listened to music or story books "on tape" to go to sleep--both at night & nap time. It was a good routine which worked because they didn't worry about what they might be missing out on with rest of household. As adults they both love to read and still listen to Amazon books.

TBH I'm not sure babies actually need or like that kind of music. They seem to like the real human voices more or something they can interact with, like rattles or toys that make sounds.

If you wish, you could get a small bluetooth speaker and it can work with any bluetooth device (either iOS, Android or even PC) to play sound from any app. We use Amazon Music (with Prime) and stream stations through an app to the speaker. There is nothing special needed, you just enable Bluetooth on your device, turn on the speaker and it should appear on screen as an abailable device. Just hit connect and you're in business.

The best gift for new parents is diapers though. Congratulations!

Ya, Iíve sort of abandoned the idea, since her parents can do the music thing through their phones. But Iím still a firm believer that music is good for little brains, not instead of voices and other sounds, but in addition to.

Techno isn't my first choice of music for children. But when my middle was a toddler, he loved dancing to Calvin Harris, which is sorta techno... just make sure all adult music around little kids is radio edit/clean!
