It's just a phase. They grow up eventually.

I thought boys were stupid then, too. So did my daughter. When she'd say that, I'd just respond "yes sometimes some of them are". I grew out of that opinion, and so did she.

Like another poster said, it beats being boy crazy.

No, the opposite is true. Women with at least one child live an average of 18 months longer than their child-free peers.

What information is on these extremist websites?

I'd be concerned about the information she is reading.

Very good point. It is probably OK that she thinks that boys in her class are silly because all they want to do is play baseball and video games. It is much more serious matter if she is poisoned by virile feminist propaganda that hates all men for no particular reason...

What kind of post is this?!

Even if my daughter is a lesbian, having dysfunctional and extreme views of the world is not healthy or something a parent should support.
Men are not awful or inferior.
Extremism of any kind is not the sign of a healthy mind.

A sarcastic one, I rather suspect, and not particularly worthy of notice.

OP, at the risk of suggesting the incredibly obvious, have you ever asked her, when she makes comments like that, why she feels that way? I think that might yield some useful information about how to proceed. It may be that she's being influenced by those radical sites, but it's just as possible that she was drawn to them in the first place because of some unpleasant interaction or experience.

Talk to her.

(male here, with a 13-year-old) My guess is, it's a phase. But I would engage her, ask her questions, listen to her. Better than trying to impose an adult perspective.
