It's one of the dumbest social media "trends" I've seen in a long time.

Hmmm. I'll disagree. Eating Tide pods was one of the dumbest. People actually get sick with that one. Belief in the thin man got a little girl killed. That's dumb. Eating ghost peppers for social media fame is pretty dumb. Heck, even the ice bucket challenge is dumber than this. No one's getting hurt. Not a big deal.

I am getting so sick of people video recording their kids in embarrassing, uncomfortable, personal, and putting them online.

The fake gift
“I ate all your candy “
Kid’s crying at the dentist or getting shots
Having them (as babies) eat spicy/sour/etc
Etc.

Ummm...I guess I will have to add throwing cheese in their kid’s faces, laughing their butts off and posting that on line.

Sigh.

Parents, just stop.

We videoed our grandson eating a lemon when he was a baby. It was hillarious. We didn't force the lemon on him, he liked it. As a matter of fact, he'd pull my hand that was holding the lemon toward him so he could taste it again.

kids: your parents are d***s. ive gone from thinking that jimmy kimmel is moderately amusing to thinking hes just a giant douche. give him this-- hes staying relevant in the youtube era. by emulating the biggest douches on youtube, though.

What about the one year old getting to eat their birthday cake all by themselves? And filming it, of course. Terrible? Wonderful? No big deal?

Not a good way to treat a young child and a waste of money. Oh wait.... does the parent then pick the cheese up off the floor and feed it to their kid?
Yes, that is the origin of the term "rug rats."
